Parallel appointed onto G-Cloud 13 Framework
Specialist tech company, Parallel, has been successful in its application for the G-Cloud 13 Framework, effective from November.
The framework is hosted by Crown Commercial Services, the UK’s biggest public procurement organisation. Parallel is now a pre-approved supplier on the free to use framework which customers refer to when looking for technology suppliers to help with the digital transformation of their projects.
Nadine Christopher, Project Data Lead for Parallel said;
“Being appointed on this framework is fantastic news for the business and will give us greater opportunity to secure further public sector work from a much larger customer base. It’ll serve as a catalyst for future work, giving current and potential customers reassurance that we’re great value for money.
“It will provide our customers with advanced information on our pricing methods, fast and easy access to the latest cloud technology, innovation, and software services through the specialist products we offer.
“We’re now in the process of applying for other similar frameworks as they’ll bolster Parallel’s position in the market, allowing us to drive the business forward and take on more work of this nature.”
Parallel supports public sector clients across England to make decisions about their services, estates, and budgets through the delivery of a market leading web application, SHAPE, which specialises in interactive mapping and data visualisation.
SHAPE is the national tool of choice for the NHS and public sector organisations and is supported by the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID), which forms part of the Department of Health and Social Care.
It provides an analytical, visual and data driven evidence base which informs and supports the strategic planning of services, estates, and assets across all public sector organisations. It helps providers and healthcare planners understand how best to configure services to meet the needs of the local population. It includes the ability to benchmark against other areas and look at things such as population demographics, location of GP practices and the make-up of staff within them to aid future planning.
The application is playing a key role in understanding the future of primary care networks to ensure services are location in the right place within communities to improve people’s health and wellbeing.
