Shared Agenda has also recently acquired specialist data mapping company Parallel Data Intelligence Limited, to provide our customers with robust, evidence-based information for estates and business planning.

Meet Jo Barnes:

Hi, I’m Jo. I’m the Managing Director of Shared Agenda. I’ve got 25 years’ experience under my belt, working both within and with the public sector across the North of England and Scotland.

I established Shared Agenda back in 2013 with Community Health Partnerships and Sewell Group. This came after our success with Hull Citycare Ltd, where, in my role as CEO, I lead a team who tripled the size of the health investment portfolio, as well as supporting customers to make the most of their estates.

Jo splits her time between Shared Agenda and Sewell Group as MD of Sewell Estates.

Meet Tim Wigglesworth:

Hello! Tim here, Chief Executive of Citycare. I draw on my 30 years of estates experience to help our customers make best and most effective use of their estate allowing them to focus on their core business. I also look after the day to day operations of the company and manage the resources of our growing team.

My understanding of the challenges facing the public sector helps me apply my skills across the range of company services from strategic advice through to implementation.

Outside work, I’m a trustee with the Smile Foundation and HKR Community Trust, referee rugby union, and follow our one-eyed racehorse!

Meet Dan Simmons :

Hi, I’m Dan. I joined the team in 2014 from a background of facilities and project management in health, commercial and industrial sectors.

I’m a chartered surveyor (MIRICS) in project management and I’ve spent my entire career working in estates roles with over 14 years of experience.

Project and development management are my core skill set and my role at Shared Agenda is to guide clients right from the inception of a project all the way through to handing over the keys.

I really enjoy working with diverse teams and leading them to deliver estates solutions that are often a core part of a client’s transformation agenda.

I have a young family so life is always interesting but in-between being a dad I love to get out and put some miles in on a mountain bike.

Meet Dave Barley:

Hello, I’m Dave.

As an Associate Consultant, I am responsible for the successful delivery and management of a wide range of construction projects undertaken by Shared Agenda and Citycare.

Working alongside our clients and the design team, I offer support, advice and guidance to both parties to ensure the ongoing successful delivery of construction projects.

Meet Nikola Idle:

Hi! Associate Director Nikola here. My day job includes being responsible for our education sector schemes as well as delivering a wide range of our other strategic and estates consultancy services.

Prior to joining the team I spent over a decade working in Local Government and the Civil Service, mainly as a Project Manager (MAPM). During my time with the Civil Service, I honed my drafting skills, which led to me becoming an accredited Better Business Cases Registered Practitioner.

Outside of work I am Vice Chair of Governors at my local school, and currently rediscovering my love of dancing!

Meet Caroline Havler:

Hello. Having been part of the Shared Agenda and Citycare team for over 10 years, I am passionate about engaging with our partners to help find optimum property solutions through our estate strategy expertise.

I work closely with our analytics and data management team to understand property capacity and requirements, whilst also understanding our customers’ challenges and aspirations.

As a chartered surveyor, and having previously worked within regeneration in the public sector, I have a practical understanding of the endeavours which can be faced.

Outside of work I enjoy country walks with our Labrador, and often spend weekends at the side of a football or rugby pitch watching my son play.

Meet Claire Harrison:

Hiya, thanks for dropping onto my bio.

With over 15 years’ experience in marketing and communications, I work on new projects and business ventures for Shared Agenda and our parent company Sewell Group.

I tupe’d across to the team in 2019 to specifically lead on the management service contract for the flagship £200m Yorkshire Energy Park. Day to day, this means ensuring the smooth running of all operations associated with the development.

Outside of the office I’m a new mum, and when I get a spare hour I like to pull on my trainers and run (or, more accurately, jog) in the beautiful East Yorkshire countryside.

Meet Nadine Christopher:

Hi I’m Nadine, I’m the Analyst and I joined the team in 2011. Developing our relationship database and expanding my sql coding skills have accelerated our data management offer.

I maintain current datasets where we provide a data retainer service. On projects, I advise of required data, format raw information received and import it into the database. My role also involves working on R&D product development delivering new web-based tools and software that help Shared Agenda become unique and more efficient.

I love visiting new places with my family, going to the theatre and enjoying meals out with a nice glass of Rioja!

Meet Jane Lewis:

I’m Jane (without a y!)

PA to both Managing Director Jo Barnes and the Chief Executive Tim Wigglesworth, whilst logistically running the office at Albion Mills. I have over 25 years of executive support level experience.

I provide administrative support through both peer review and ensuring compliance with all of Shared Agenda’s usual quality assurance processes. I also provide executive support to the Chairman of Citycare and Shared Agenda Board, Alan Johnson.  I describe myself as the ‘Girl Friday’ of my team undertaking daily reactive tasks for a busy team of 22.

I have a passion for looking after animals and volunteer every weekend at Hull Animal Welfare Trust.

Meet Jonathan Ramsey:

Hi I’m Jon, I have over 11 years’ experience in complex estates, projects and developments working for both private and public sector clients.

Using my experience, I work across a range of projects from inception to completion making sure our clients are happy. I really enjoy working with our clients and project stakeholders and helping them achieve their desired outcomes whether this be through a well-managed and delivered refurbishment, completion of a feasibility study, development of a design, contract management or management and completion of critical maintenance and compliance works.

Outside of work I am a new dad and I enjoy spending quality time with my little girl and partner, I enjoy the outdoors, rock climbing and golf (fair weather only!)

Meet Lucy Hartshorne:

Hi, I’m Lucy.

I have been with Shared Agenda since 2016, originally joining as an Admin Assistant. Since then, I have moved across to the operations team and become Estates Manager.

I oversee the operational Primary Care Health Estate in Hull and deliver and manage the Centre Management service on behalf of CHP. As well as this, I am also the ISO lead and manage the 9001 Quality Management System to ensure our business processes are effective and we continually improve.

At Shared Agenda, we all bring a unique quality to the team and understand each other’s assets which allows us to provide a top quality service to our customers.

Outside of work I enjoy long walks with my husband and exploring our new village. I also have a passion for shoes and bags but can’t physically fit another item in my wardrobe!

Meet Laura Garnham:

Hi, I’m Laura.

As a Senior Consultant at Shared Agenda, I review current estate provision and future service needs, working with commissioners and providers to deliver strategic advice and long-term planning that focuses on identifying solutions to support the efficient delivery of healthcare services. I can also provide strategic system support and delivery of wider estates engagement programmes.

I am qualified with a Masters in Planning Buildings for Health, and am a Better Business Cases Practitioner, trained in the delivery of HM Treasury’s Business Case processes.

In my spare time I enjoy trampolining and coaching rebound therapy sessions.

Meet Issy Whitelock:

Hi, I’m Issy.

I joined the team in 2017 after graduating from Northumbria University with a Real Estate degree.

Since, I have become a Better Business Case Practitioner, training in the delivery of the ‘Five Case Model’, the UK government’s best practice approach to developing spending proposals and enabling effective business decisions.

I work as part of the Development Team, working across a variety of disciplines with specific focus and experience in development support, project management, strategic property advice and estate planning. I really enjoy working closely with my clients on a day to day basis to ensure I can effectively support them the planning and delivery of their projects.

Meet Sophie Lee:

Hi I’m Sophie. I joined the team in July 2018 having graduated from University of Leeds with a BA Hons in Geography.

As a Consultant, I work across both the strategy and developments team, helping to develop and deliver schemes across all stages of the project lifecycle from estates planning and options appraisals to construction project management.

I am involved in the Bondholder Young Talent Network steering group, who work to develop a professional network of young people and programme of unique events in the Humber region for those early in their career.

Outside of the office, I am a keen runner and compete both locally and nationally on the road and cross-country.

Meet Aidan Wickenden:

Hi I’m Aidan, I joined the team in 2020 after graduating from the University of Hull with a First-Class Honours Degree in BA Human Geography.

As a Graduate Consultant, I assist on a wide range of projects including, strategic estate planning and project management undertaken by Shared Agenda and Citycare.

Whilst working alongside Senior Consultants , I have gained valuable advice, guidance and experiences to help grow my skill set.

Outside of the office, I play football and cricket on a weekend for local teams and I am an avid Hull City fan.

Meet Cameron Wood:

Hi I’m Cameron, I joined the team in 2020 after graduating with a first-class honours degree in BA Human Geography from The University of Hull.

As a Graduate Consultant, I provide support on a diverse range of projects from strategic estate planning to developments, alongside Shared Agenda’s management service contracts on behalf of Hull Eco Parks Limited and Sewell Investments.

Working at Shared Agenda provides me the opportunity to develop, while gaining knowledge and experience as a result of high level of exposure to a range of challenges. When away from the office I find running the best way to keep fit and relax.

Meet Megan Cawkwell:

Hello I’m Megan. I joined the team as an Operations Admin Apprentice in 2020.

I am responsible for helping deliver administrative and project support to the Operations and Centre Management teams, as well as the wider team members.

When I’m not in the office, I love reading.

Meet Richard Clark:

Hi, I’m Richard, a Senior Analyst who joined the team in 2009. My role is to support the data analytics behind our services, providing the objective evidence and arguments behind our recommendations; using both statistics and computer programming.

Having developed into this role from being an Estate planner with an Msc in the subject, my background provides me with the advantage of a deep understanding of context to which my analytic programming skills can be applied. Once we have developed our analytics methods, I then convert them into web application tools for our team to operate themselves, then constantly improving them from the teams feedback.

Outside of work, I enjoy continuing to develop my interest in programming, as well as the joy I get from the time I spend bringing up my two sons.

Meet Bethany Keegan:

Hi, I’m Bethany.

I joined the team in 2020 as a Graduate Consultant with Finance Role after graduating from the University of Nottingham with a joint honour’s degree in Economics and Politics. I help assist the strategy and development teams to help deliver long term solutions to maximize opportunities for our clients. Alongside this, my role extends to helping support the team in all things finance!

Outside of the office I am a keen reader and I am always trying to learn more about the world around me keeping up to date with politics (both national and international) and market trends.
